Polka Dot Baby Shower
Guests hung clothing on a clothes line strung across the room & brought a book to start the baby library. Milk bottles with colorful polka dot straws were used for drinks from the beverage station. A turkey was decorated as a stork since the baby was due on Thanksgiving (this baby came a month early thankfully strong & healthy). The watermelon fruit cut to look like the baby in a cradle was the biggest hit, it was so adorable no one could walk by it without smiling.

Bridal Showers
Paris Bridal Shower
A Paris theme was choses for the couple getting engaged there. Black toile table runners made by the brides grandmother were accented with yellow tablecloths, flowers & napkins. A Mimosa station was set up with the luncheon of Quiche & Strawberry salad. Eiffel Tower cookies & a yellow tiered cake for dessert with a coffee bar. Placing stations in different areas helped with traffic flow. Long tables were used end to end to make one long L shaped table.
Beach Bridal Shower
A Jamaican engagement lead to the beach themed shower. Seashells, candles, scattered sea glass & candies were on the tables. Hand knitted dishcloths and starfish Christmas ornaments for favors were a big hit. The tropical fruit tree decorated the food table of salads and Jamaican Jerk Chicken wraps. Chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter icing (the brides mothers specialty) along with Snicker doodle cookies decorated with almonds to look like sand dollars. Polka dot straws with Jamaican phrases were used to drink the Rum Punch.
